Two Months to Prepare

We officially have less than two-months before we hop on the plane for a seventeen-hour trip to Jerusalem. A lot of details are falling into place, but much remains to be done. Recent preparations included hauling books downstairs, pulling out yards of lily of the valley, and preparing our will. While not technically required, this last step seemed timely. We met with Arlen Card, a family friend, estate attorney, and in his own words, a paid paranoiac whose job it is to protect us from a myriad of postmortem misfortunes. I recently recertified for First Aid/CPR, and my head is chock-full of how to respond to disasters I hope never to meet.
