Little cups of nectar kept the lorries and the kids happy. Here is Abby above, Emily below, and Isaac in the photo below that.
We took a shortcut and skipped the African animals for the sake of time, but we couldn't skip the petting zoo and the playground, with sculptures by Niki de Saint Phalle and architect Mario Botta. The entire zoo was fun, but this part was especially hard to leave.

We only made it through half of the zoo before heading home, but it was great fun and helped us all get through a week without Daddies.
